curriculum costs vary by grade, low on cost without compromising quality

We use curriculum by The Good and The Beautiful. Curriculum costs vary by class with an average of about $150 per child. One of the lowest cost curriculums out there, we fully support and choose this curriculum. It keeps our program affordable!! The curriculum follows five pillars as described below. Check out all the awards it has earned @ https://www.goodandbeautiful.com/awards/

Pillar One

Appreciation for God, family, nature,

and wholesome art and literature.

School is not just about checking off all the subjects to be taught each day—it’s about shaping children’s hearts and minds and, above all, leading them closer to God. Thus, our nondenominational Christian curriculum is rich with nature, beautiful art, and literature that supports faith, character building, and strong families.  These rich factors are building blocks for childhood engagement.

math is simple and manageable

Pillar two

Structure and strong academics.

Learning should be fun and creative while ALSO being academically solid and thorough. Our intentional and planned curriculum is thorough and academically robust, leaving NO holes in your child’s academic foundation.  It has earned multiple awards for its effectiveness.

pillar three

Easy-to-learn lessons with

short teaching times.

We do not need complicated rigorious lengthy lessons to give your child a strong academic education. Our lessons are open-and-go, and we maximize learning by teaching multiple concepts in each activity or lesson, reducing busywork and teaching time so that your child and their classmates can have time for the academic games we offer, other hands on learning opportunities, and longer recesses.

pillar three

Affordable Curriculum & Parent Friendly

All of the thorough, high-quality K-8 math and language arts course work is extremely affordable.   The prices vary by class but are all well under $200.  Additionally, our curriculum is homeschool-friendly making it easy for parents to assist children with make up work or take it on vacations.

pillar five

Balanced homeschool approach in a church environment.

A homeschooling and church family atmosphere is what we strive for at Catalyst Study Hall.  We focus not on one educational philosophy but rather on what works! Because our curriculum is so balanced and does not lean toward any extremes , hundreds of thousands of families with different views on education have found The Good and the Beautiful to be a wonderful match for their child's schooling and we agree for our program as well!!!

"for where your treasure is, there your heart [your wishes, your desires; that on which your life centers] will be also" Mathew 6:21 amplified version
