Tuition is per student for ten months. Tuition covers lease, insurance, utilities, instructor salary, clerical salary, and art, classroom theater, and sports enrichment, as well as other costs.
In order to be efficient Catalyst Study Hall requires all families to commit to the same curriculum for each grade level. There are many ways to purchase these materials. The books and materials list will be listed here on this page within the near future. You will also be handed a book list upon enrollment.
These subjects are taught using a literature-based approach. The books required are different for each grade and have different costs. The teacher's manuals, answer keys, and manipulatives are optional. If you would like to check out the vendor please go to Sonlight.com. Some of these books you may already have, can purchase from the thrift store, can borrow from a library, or have your charter program purchase.
We use Saxon Math. You can purchase the appropriate grade level for your student on many sites. The teacher's manuals, answer keys, and manipulatives may or may not be optional depending on the grade or family needs. We do ask that you wait for your student(s) to take the Saxon math assessments prior to purchasing the texts so you can make sure your student is on the right path for success. You can purchase Saxon math from many vendors or have your charter program purchase them.
We use BJU press for our science instruction. This text is faith based so our instructors can be as precise and efficient as possible with such a sensitive and exciting subject.
