Catalyst Study Hall is a non-denominational educational ministry, or micro-school, offering faith-based services to homeschooling families. Our 4-day low-cost educational program incorporates daily mini-chapels, small classroom sizes, and community outreach opportunities.
CSH does a 20-minute mini-chapel each day. We believe in fostering children's love for the Lord by encouraging engagement in the Word, and these short services help children connect with God daily.
Our classroom sizes are limited to 15 students. This allows students to be fully known, have individualized curriculum attention, and form lasting friendships.
Catalyst believes that proper education starts at home and that parents are the ultimate authority over what their children learn. Families enrolled in our program are registered as homeschoolers and are in charge of their student's education.
Our program uses a faith-based curriculum that is easy to use at home and in class. Each area of study is taught with a firm faith foundation.
Every other Friday, Catalyst offers optional outreach opportunities, and we encourage families to join us as we serve our local community. Opportunities include visiting local Senior Centers, picking up trash along the river, donating to local food banks, and more.
Our lives are so busy and fast paced! Catalyst wants to encourage students and families to really experience Sabbath rest, and so we intentionally take Friday's off.
Catalyst believes in fostering an environment where children can know and engage with God. Our staff are all required to be born again Christians, and adhere to our Statement of Faith.
